I am from North India, so moving to Tamil Nadu means a new language to learn and a new culture to adopt. Working at KOCO means I am also learning English and new skills with handknitting.
There is a lot of education and I love it. All the ladies are very supportive. We work together so there is no stress or pressure.
Now that I am working, my family is helping out more with the household work at home. My salary means we can meet our expenses and have some money for extras. My daughter is in college and my son is in school; my salary and my husband’s earnings help pay the fees.
I would love to see someone wearing a garment I made. I would feel proud.
