Before joining KOCO, I couldn’t read my children’s text books. I stopped going to school when I was 10 years old. Now I can understand knitting patterns in English. The ladies are all very patient with me. They help me understand the work. I really enjoy learning.

I used to work for a food company. The hours were long. Since joining KOCO I can balance a career and time with my family. My husband and I have a stronger bond now, we are happy. It’s an important change in our lives to be able to spend equal time at work and with my family.

With the money I am earning at KOCO I am saving for my big dream to buy our own home. I can also buy things for my two children without asking my husband for money.

I would feel happy and excited to see someone wearing something I had handknitted.
