The reason I joined KOCO was because I wanted to do something for myself. I felt bold to do this. Before joining KOCO the only paid work I did was manual labour on the roads for 100 days.
Before I started working I always depended on my husband for everything, but now I can stand for myself. I am proving to my family I can be strong and bold and they are giving me respect.
I had to change things in my home life to be able to work: I am teaching my children about responsibility so they can do things for themselves. They understand that if I have to do all the housework, I cannot get to work on time. They respect the need to help me so I can do my job.
The knitting is work I am enjoying and the ladies are like family, but I love learning English words, reading and writing. This is my favourite.
