I am supporting six people in my family who live under our roof. I love knitting and this work means I can pay for my children’s school fees to get a good education. My two children go to a private school and it is important they are educated to improve their life.
The handknitting hub is close to my house and the hours mean I can equally balance my home and work duties.
I feel most happy when I am learning new skills like new stitches, reading English and understanding the patterns. When we receive work for a new client I feel excited to see the colours we will be working with.
I am learning how to we work as a team to help each other grow so we can deliver good results for our customers.
If I met a customer wearing something made by me I would ask if they are comfortable, that would make me feel so proud. We always give our best.
