Before joining KOCO I was a home maker and, while I enjoy cleaning my house, I felt worried about my future because of our financial situation. We are supporting five people in our household; myself, my husband, two children and my mother-in-law.

Since joining KOCO I am feeling happy and confident about my future. My mother-in-law helps with the house work now, so that I can come to work on time.

I finished school when I was 12 years old. Despite leaving school such a long time ago, I can still learn things very easily and I am happy to be learning new things with the ladies at KOCO. I love coming to work and interacting with the ladies. I also love that my earnings means I can pay our rent and fulfil my children’s needs without always asking my husband.

If I saw someone wearing something made by me I would run towards them and say, you are so beautiful in this garment, I knit this, do you like it?
