I was a packer in a welding rod company before I started at KOCO. The hours were long and the work was not interesting.
At KOCO I feel happy for many reasons. I am learning so many things like time management; when we knit we have to schedule our time so that we complete our work. I also use this time management at home to run my family well.
The work hours here mean I can reach home when my two children finish school. This is really important to me because I love spending time with my family, we have a strong bond.
I finished school when I was 11 years old. When I started working at KOCO I felt bad because I couldn’t read. It was my dream in life to learn to read and write. I am achieving this dream because of KOCO.
The ladies are lovely. The handknitting hubs have a womanly environment and I feel safe and free.
