I started working at KOCO in 2016. I am loving it because I think working with the team here is making me feel bold and active. I feel I can face the world bravely.
My family is feeling happy because we have good money now. I come from a very poor family. Before KOCO I was only able to do seasonal work, which isn't enough to support my family. I felt alone because it was just me at home and that didn't make me feel good. Now I am able to help everyone.
When I was a child, I loved going to school, but I could not continue past eighth grade. I like learning everything at my knitting work like English and different types of knitting stitches. I love coming to work because I can interact with other people, which I didn’t do very much when working on my farm.
KOCO has changed me as a person. I am confident and I feel an important part of the team. I am making things that customers enjoy to touch and own. I am smiling every day.
It’s my dream go on a world tour.
