I joined KOCO to help my family’s financial situation. I am finding that working gives my family more than financial security. I was a home maker before joining KOCO and I could spread out my house work over the whole day. Now I need to work efficiently to make sure I get to work on time. This has made me feel like a more active person. I am now very organised and my life seems to flow better.
I left school at the age of 11 and was mainly doing house duties. Now I am learning to communicate well with others and clearly expressing any doubt or concerns I have with many things about work or cooking recipes at home. The ladies here all help each other with everything because we all want to be happy at home and at work.
My earnings help pay for my two children’s school fees and other family expenses.
If I saw someone wearing something made by me I would ask them if they feel comfortable. I would feel very happy.
