I used to work as a helper in a pen company. What I love about working her is there is no partiality, no favouritism. It’s a sisterhood and we are all equal. Everyone is very friendly and keen to help everyone learn to be the best knitters they can be.
The biggest change I have seen in myself since joining KOCO is my health. I feel good. In my previous work the hours were 9am-7pm and I felt very weak and stressed. Here I can earn a living, take care of my health and spend more time with my family. I feel my family is stronger because I am able to connect with them.
I left school at the age of 10 and it is my dream to give my two children a good education. Because of my earnings my husband and I can afford private school education and save for our children’s college fees. I can fulfil the needs of my children without depending on my husband.
