Before I joined KOCO I became a single mother. I had a bad illness, my husband left me and my children alone. I was feeling frustrated about my future but tried to seem confident and bold for my children.
My sister’s husband told me about KOCO and I came to learn knitting. I love it. The ladies are welcoming and when I come to work I forget my worries and I feel brighter about my future. My children are a great help because they understand how important my work is to our family’s future.
With my earnings I am able to pay for their education. I finished school when I was 13 years old. It is my dream to give my children a good life, without needing help from anyone.
